The shoot of Acid Factory which was on in South Africa took a very interesting turn when actor Irrfan Khan, known for his professionalism and seriousness about his job, kissed Dia Mirza on the lips even though the scene only required him to kiss her on her cheek. Shocked, Dia phoned producer Sanjay Gupta and informed him about the incident.
The scene going on was when Dia introduces Irrfan to Fardeen Khan and Irrfan comes forward to kiss Dia on the cheek and make it clear to Fardeen to not enter into his territory.

He has to do this because he suspects something is going on between Fardeen and Dia. Everyone was taken by surprise when Irrfan, instead of kissing Dia on cheeks suddenly kissed her on her lips.
Dia, however chose not to make an issue about it at that time and simply called up Sanjay later on.
On the other hand, Dia doesn’t seem upset over the issue as she feels that he did it to establish the chemistry between them in the scene but was very surprised with the move. Sanjay also feels the same.
Seems like Irrfan’s spontaneous and unscripted kiss didn’t annoy the Miss.
