The book features his role in the creation of Dudhwa National Park, and his life long struggle in the research and the rehabilitation of the big cats in the forests of North Lakhimpur Kheri Division. Today as he narrates his tales to me at 93 years of age, I can see the desperation in his eyes to carry on a little further to put in some more years of dedication to his subjects, adding on to those glorious 60yrs, which he has put in to the service in protecting the flora and fauna of these forests of Dudhwa. Sir, it would be a very fitting honour for him, if you could write a foreword to the book, a book which contains his life time story and features about 300 pictures of him living with the big cats.
