Procedure
- Click Start menu and type “regedit”, in Run Command Box.
- Now, in registry editor windows Select File Menu and click on Export.
- Choose a location in order to save the backup file, and rename it accordingly for your future reference.
- Hit the Save Button in order to create backup.
- You are done, verify once by exploring to the location, and check for .reg file extension.
