The experimental actress Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing a journalist in Mani Shankar’s next film. In the movie, Kanagana will play out a role based on real-life journalist Barkha Dutt. Maklai will produce the film, while Mani Shankar will direct it.
Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan will be playing government agents in the untitled film.
Kangana is very excited, as this will be her first time playing a journalist so much so that she is even planning to trim her hair on the lines of Barkha’s hairdo.
Kangana seems to have had enough of tragic roles and now she is planning to do something different.
Well before this, we also saw Preity Zinta who played a journalist in Lakshya also confessed that she’d drawn a lot of inspiration from Barkha, who is well-known in India for her work on television and newspapers.
