Resolve Service Application Error, IIS Server Not Working

Well, it is a common problem occurs in the windows platform, hosting local web server. This morning when I synchronized my ASP code from my flash media to the “wwwroot” directory, I was issued with this “Service Application Error” error page.

 

I checked the Services for IISAdmin it was working fine.

I reinstalled my IIS Server with XP Pro SP2-CD, still no diagnosis.

I checked all the configurations with the website properties.

 

I browsed in AdminScripts subdirectory under Inetpub directory. I went through all scripts by opening them with Notepad. There was a file named “synciwam.vbs”.

 

This file is an Account Synchronizing Utility, which updates all the identity of all IIS COM+ application packages. When, I executed this file on windows, I actually met my solution and my problem was diagnosed.
