This is shocking and sad news for Pakistan cricket fan club, that Pakistan will not be hosting 2011 world cup cricket tournament. The reason behind Pakistan will not held 2011 world series championship is because of security concern showed by ICICI.
Few days back when sri lanka cricket team attacked by militants in Pakistan when they went for cricket tour of Pakistan.

This decision is not going to go down well with the Pakistani people since the World Cup is a global event and this decision is a big setback for our cricket
Though I really feel, the decision taken by ICICI was too early as major security majors can be taken by Pakistan cricket board for the successful accomplishment of world cup 2009.

I want to laugh on Rameez raza and Javed Miandad, after Srilankan team incident how can they give such a statement? Its the most appropriate decision taken by ICC, i am worried about Indian hosting because shifting of IPL to SA is the biggest indication of security flaw in India. But i am sure ICC will not go for it due scope of big advertisers and huge amount of money involved in the deal.
