Today, Swine Flu has, hit the major cities of India and also around the World, on serious note actually spreading like a rumour. All medical sciences have failed to diagnose the swine flu cases so far. World Health Organization, WHO has already got success in making the Vaccine, but still its hard to produce in large-scale. In India, six manufacturers have received the seed strain and production process has already been started.

But the Process will take time, as scaling up the production and quality-testing etc…are time consuming processes. Company has decided to produce limited quantity of vaccines, so far. But “Prevention is better than cure”, so I asked one of the Medical Student to prescribe the symptoms and the Prevention is better than cure, till the swine flu vaccine is commercially available.

Swine Flu is a H1N1 Virus, an airborne influenza disease comprising of pig and bird influenza viruses. It has become a pandemic as humans are not immune to such viruses.

Symptoms

  • High fever
  • Runny nose
  • Soar throat
  • Body ache
  • Diarrhoea and fatigue
  • Pneumonia and Respiratory Failure

Precautions

  • Use antibacterial soaps to wash hands.
  • Have a good sleep of 8 hours to keep your immune system fit.
  • Drink sufficient water, nourished food with vegetables and fruits/
  • Use face with a piece of cloth or N-95 Masks, in crowed areas.
  • Consult Hospital, when suspected with swine flu symptoms above.
