To delete an account on Twitter we can simple follow this link

http://twitter.com/account/deletetwitter

and can delete our Twitter account. Though I feel twitter people should think again, and provide a password box before anyone wants to delete his twitter account.

Anyone can delete your twitter account by simply clicking at above link, if you have left your twitter account open by mistake.
